We are constantly looking for ways to better ourselves and the environment at large. And with this move we have adapted to the use of Solar energy to provide for more than half of our energy requirements within the company.

This by large has significantly reduced our carbon footprint, enhanced reliability in our production chain and at large proves to be more efficient. 

We aspire to work towards getting better alternatives to our work being more efficient.

Use of solar energy to increase on our energy efficiency and reduction of our carbon footprint.

# GENERAL NEWS.
The month of September prices were very good both in the clock and direct market but with slightly low flower production in the first two weeks of the month. This is attributed to the prolonged chilly weather in the month of July and August. Production this month has started going up despite rainy conditions.
# WEATHER
As it was last month, this month has also started with heavy rains with daily rainfall of 30 mm in the last two weeks and it is expected to continue for the next two weeks. This is the normal short rains that is usually noticed within this period of the year but it’s slightly higher than usual.  The temperatures at the moment are at highs of 25°C to 27°C during the day and lows of 12°C to 14°C during the night. 

# PRODUCTION AND QUALITY	
## PRODUCTION  

We expected our production to go up from mid-last month, to a daily average production of 150 thousand stems and this will continue throughout to the end of this month. 

Quality is good and we expect to maintain it that way.

1.	Varieties expected to increase in production; 
(Top Gear, Kiwi, Samantha Bridal, Pink Sudoku, Athena, Moon Walk, Furiosa, Lampion, Tacazzi, Sweet Tacazzi, Pink Tacazzi, Lampion Burgundy & Shiary)
2.	Varieties expected to maintain in production; 
(Sudoku, Pink Shadow, Pink Athena, Sweet flow, Show Flow, Bellerose, Minion rose, Careless Whisper’s)
3.	No Variety is expected to drop in production.

# QUALITY
Quality is looking nice at the moment and head sizes have increased gradually through the month of September and we expect better heads and stem length in October too.
We have started harvesting the first flashes of Cashmere and Camaro the volumes will increase in November where we will have good production of Noelle, Flinders Lane and Gentle trend setter coming in from second week of November. Yoga and Leila will come towards the end of November.
